System Overview
Experience the the clarity of 4 Megapixel video with the simplicity of using existing coaxial infrastructure. The Lite series features compact design and high quality image at an accessible price. It offers various varifocal and fixed lens models with multi-language OSD and HD/SD switchable output. This model has a 3.6mm fixed lens. The platform flexibility and cost-efficient performance makes the lite series camera an ideal choice for SMB solutions.

Functions
4 Signals over 1 Coaxial Cable
HDCVI technology supports 4 signals to be transmitted over 1 coaxial cable simultaneously, i.e. video, audio*, data and power. Bidirectional data transmission allows interaction with HDCVI cameras; such as for PTZ controls, alarm activation, or OSD menu access. In time, HDCVI technology will support PoC, increasing the flexibility of installation.
* Audio input is available for some models of HDCVI cameras.

Long Distance Transmission
HDCVI technology guarantees long-distance and real-time transmission with only minimal loss. It supports up to 700m for 4MP HD video via coaxial cable, and up to 300m via UTP cable.*
*Actual results verified by real-scene testing in Dahua's test laboratory.

Simplicity
HDCVI technology inherits the plug-and-play simplicity of traditional analog surveillance systems, making it a popular choice for investment protection. HDCVI systems can seamlessly upgrade traditional analog systems without replacing existing coaxial cabling. This approach enables a drop-in replacement to full HD video surveillance without the hassle of configuring a network.

Smart IR
Incorporating microcrystalline LED IR illumination, the camera is designed for impressive low light performance. Smart IR technology ensures uniformity in broughtness for greyscale images under low illumination. This is accomplished by automatic adjusting of the intensity of the infrared LEDs to compensate for the distance of an object, and prevents the IR LEDs from overexposing images as an object comes closer to the camera.

HD/SD Switchable
The camera supports switchable HDCVI high definition video output and CVBS standard definition video output. The two formats can be switched over through the OSD menu or by the PFM820 UTC controller. This feature makes the camera compatible with both HCVRs and existing analog DVRs. Additionally, this facilitates debugging through analog testers.

Multi-language OSD
The OSD menu provides multiple image adjustments and function settings to meet the requirements of different monitoring scenes. It includes configurations of the backlight mode, day/night behavior, white balance, privacy mask, and motion detection. The camera supports 11 languages for the OSD menu (Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Polish).

Protection
Sporting a rugged design, these cameras are reliable and proven in the field. The camera is protected against water and dust with IP67 ratings, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
The cameras are also compliant with IK10 impact resistance to provide maximum durability against vandals, making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 55kg (120lbs) of force.
With a working temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C (-40 °F to +140 °F), the camera is designed for extreme temperature environments.
Supporting ±25% input voltage tolerance, this camera can handle even the most unstable power supply conditions. Its 4KV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from potential strikes.
