The WE-001 - SkylinkHome 100W Plug In Receiver with Relay Output allows you to remotely turn the lighting or other appliances in your home ON/OFF with the use of a SkylinkHome remote or transmitter.
Installation is relatively easy and is designed to replace the existing wall switch. Two wires (live and load) connect the WE-001 to your wall, with no neutral wire needed. Once installation is complete, you can use a SkylinkHome wireless remote to control the switch from as far as 500 feet away. So whether your across the room, or maybe even outside your front door, you'll be able to control light bulbs, fans, gas fireplaces, and more.
The WE-001 can communicate with up to 8 transmitters, so you can add more remote controls, motion sensors, etc. to the system with ease. This way several family members can have personal control of various devices, and contribute to a wholly SkylinkHome optimized household.
- Simply replace existing wall switch
- Two wires (live and load), no neutral wire needed
- ON/OFF function
- Works with light bulbs and fans, gas fireplaces, etc., up to 1000W load
- Timer mode available
- Wireless remote control range is up to 500 feet in open area
PLEASE NOTE: SkyLinkHome products are not compatible with existing Skylink Brand security systems. The PR-318S, however, can function as a converter for certain SkylinkHome transmitters to operate the SC-100, SC-1000 and AM-100 Skylink Brand systems.

- I purchased three of these units for use in outside animal shelter ...Review by Robert Marsh
In one case I have used two different units to switch two LED lights that total about 40 Watts. initially the unit works fine ...excercise it for 50 cycles and range was decent too of about 300 ft. Then a few hours later they do not reliably work. Maybe fail in streaks of half dozen or so tries and streaks of working for a few cycles...using the remote or push button.
I communicate with Skylink support and this is what I get
Thank you for your email. Regarding your issue, the reason you are having issues is because this unit is not compatible with halogen bulbs. Also this unit is only compatible with LED bulbs, that are 7 watts and under. Therefore I recommend that you would try using different type of bulbs, then test the units and hopefully that should provide a change in results."
Nothing in their specs talks in these terms.
I suspect the problemhas to do with outdoor temperatures in the 20 degree ranges....the relay may be sticking??? (Posted on 12/11/13)
