We have three of them and love them all. I use mine every day to arm and disarm the house. We have never had any issues with our units. My wife and I have been using them over a year now.

Piece of junk. The plastic breaks off where the keys attached. The keys need to be held firmly, and for about 3 seconds. I have had SEVERAL false alarms where the panic button got pressed by my keys attached to the keyfob while in my pocket. They really really need to have a cover on this puppy. Also, there is no positive feedback that the system is armed/disarmed, so you are always in doubt. I would have bought an Ademco system in hindsight, which is how much having a great keyfob matters to me. But hey, some people might not put a great keyfob as a top priority.

1. The delay on the buttons can be eliminated 2. The LED should only come on when a signal is being transmitted. 3. The panic key requires you to press it for 5sec. versus the normal keys 2-3sec. (which can also be reduced/eliminated)

I don't recommend this feature. It is not like a car wireless key. The buttons are inconvinient. You should check twice that the key has worked. You have to press buttons for 2-3 seconds (may be more). One key didn't work at all. Probably, I'll put the keys somewhere without a usage.

This is a nice control, visually it appears to be a quality part unlike most X10 device remotes and the like. One complaint, if you press the button really lightly, the light will light indicating a transmission, but it does not transmit. You have to press firmly. I understand the press firmly part, don't want it pressing in your coat pocket all day, but the light should not light unless it is going to transmit.
