If you are not familiar with four wire hookups the tech service people at HomeSecurityStore.com can help anybody figure it out. They helped me and that says a lot! This sensor is meant to trigger an alarm when window glass breaks. Not when you drop a drinking glass! Some people think cheap stuff saves money and good quality sensors like this are proof that theory about cheap stuff doesn't work with sensors! These are not cheap and in a year I have NEVER had one single false alarm. You get what you pay for. I consider the five shatterpro sensors I have to be a good investment since they have never given me a false alarm. Although I never got to install it because my dog got to the box and ate it before I had a chance. The reason I am giving this a five is for the quality, the circuit board survived but the plastics did not. Anyone got any plastics....
