The WAVE-2ex unique hinged case design allows for installation without dis-assembly. Corner or ceiling mount capability with no additional hardware. Easy terminal block wire connections. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Standard single gang box size. Choose high or low output with selectable jumper.

This siren is loud and shrill if you are in the same room, but don't count on it to wake you up at night if you sleep a few rooms away with a closed door. This is why I'm moving this siren to the garage and doing a 1.5amp relay to power the monster 748 off my lynx.

I bought two of these noise makers for my Simon XT system. Each one only draws 110 mA and they work great. I put one in my living room to augment the siren from the main panel in the hallway and one in the basement. Not ear splitting, but loud enough to leave your ears ringing after it's shut off. Make sure you wire it correctly.

This siren is the best siren you can buy for the GE simon series. It only draws 110mA, so you can use up to 2. They are very loud, and inexpensive. They sound like a bird chirping and are ear piercing. I have 2 of them on my simon 3 system, one upstairs, and one in the basement, with the main panels siren for the main floor.
