The WAVE-2 unique hinged case design allows for installation without dis-assembly. This attractive new designs allows for corner or ceiling mount capability with no additional hardware and easy terminal block wire connections. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Standard single gang box size.

The Home Security Store steered me in the right direction regarding this purchase. There are louder sirens available, but this one is plenty loud enough to be heard down the street in my opinion. By the way, for each additional 3 dB the volume is twice as loud cumulatively. The 748 - Ademco 119dB Siren should be 20 times more powerful than a 106 dB siren. As loud as this thing is, I would hate to hear the 748. This one is PLENTY loud for me. Hope this helps.

I recently installed a Simon3 System and always have packaged one of these with it because its siren is so wimpy! The last install the owner didn't want it so I just took it back to the office and decided that people are always asking what the siren sounds like so I took an old 15VDC transformer and justn cut off the end and wired it up to the Wave and whenever the plug is in a outlet, the siren sounds! great idea for a demo!

This is a loud siren for 106 DB!! most are 120 or 110 but this is loud enough for a tiny siren at 106 DB u can hear it outside to if ur near the house so yup its loud. I have a Question for anyone 2 answer so hera goes. Can u hook these super loud sirens up to a Compustar Or any auto Secerity Alarm to add with ur horn honk output and ur 6 tone 128 DB siren? Because this is soooooooo loud i want this on my car so anyone plz lemme know if u know Thanks.

This is what you want in a siren. The Wave 2 is so loud that it actually is painful to your ears. It is piercing. I have 2 of these in my home - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. They are inexpensive and worth every penny. I highly highly recommend adding these to your existing system. You will be glad that you did.
