Works wirelessly if you don't use WPA encryption. I was able to get it to work wirelessly with WEP128 though.

I'm seeing a trend here in these reviews. Read all the ones that have a 5 star rating and see if you don't notice similar trends in the grammar. You're telling me that all of those users focus on the same things and consistently call it an "IP cam"?

I've been playing with this thing for two months now and still can't get everything working. Sure the cam itself works great. The motion detector still isn't working. Won't send an email. 3G? even product support says it's hard to set up, still not working. Don't even think about trying to get access thru a wireless internet connection to your laptop- Not supported. Well kind of but not really. If you have any answers you cand find me at--cowboyrvin@yahoo.com

Yes, the camera works great on the LAN, but try to view a live feed from somewhere outside your LAN and this is no easy task. Most people buying an IP camera want to remotely view their home while at work, out of town, etc.. I have been unable to access the camera remotely so as to achieve real-time remote monitoring. All I want to do is access the camera via the internet while at work and check in on the my place. No matter how I configure the camera or the Linksys router it is connected to, all I get is an empty box with no video when attempting to display the camera. The pdf installation documents on the installation CD were no help. I think the problem resides in the cameras built in server software. Will be sending this back.

This IP cam is amazing. Very easy to set up and install. I wish it would have night vision. The pro side is the IP cam solves old man like me dealing with too much IT issue. The con side is this was not with night vision....

This is the IP cam for the people who have no knowledge of IT. I do not how it comes up, but I just plug the IP cam to my Cable modem internet plug and install the software. Follow the instruction entering ID and password, then I can see my IP cam vidoe from my office. Very easy to set up. The con is it is not night vision. Other than that, I think it is worthy unit.

Unbelievable product. The connection is very easy and set up. I had one IP cam from WiLife, the IP cam from WiLife was the same idea of this IP cam, but it needed monthly charge if I want WiLife to record. With this IP cam, I can record the video on my PC and more importantly, it is free of charge. The video image is crystal clear, but the con side is it is without night vision. The supplier must have the IR version, otherwise how can I see it at night? Other than night vision, I am very pleased with this product. Strong recommendation!!

First of all, I am not a computer girl. But I can do the IP cam by myself, so I think it is easy set up product. I used other IP cam but it neeeded a lot of settings and I needed to call the technical support center. It took me 1 hours to do the IP cam setting up......... I like the way the IP cam works. The only thing I can be picky is it is not with night vision...

It is unbelivable... I bought this IP cam from other website and it is unbelivable product.... It is the IP cam you definitely want to get it for IT jerk or IT dumb. The magic is you connect the IP cam to router, then you are free to go... No more DDNS, Router mapping.... Not sure who comes out with it, but it is a magic product... Magic and unbelivable......

When I first tried this IP cam, (bought from other website), I was surprised by its easy connection idea. The idea was connect the ip cam to the ruoter, then it was all set. Although the software is not fancy, it provides basic needs. At this price, i think it is much worhty for me to buy IP cam at more than US$300 for IP cam with troublesome setiting... I think it is a good prodcut. And the seller must integrate this technology into other network device, because I am a IT jerk.

This IP camera is beyond my expectation. I've never seen a IP camera that can get done just connecting to a router. It's very easy and straightforward.
