TAMMY on 12/3/2007, said: I have had the phone now for about 9 months. I have it programmed to call my cell phone if I have an intruder. Along with this phone, I have 2 covert motion activated cameras (in 2 different locations) that film video of my intruder/s coming through my front door. There have been about 4 times that the Telespy Phone has called my cell phone when there was no intruder. After my Telespy phone called me, I ran home to see if my home was broken into. I checked the video of my 2 cameras, and it only records me leaving and entering my apartment. So for some reason, i do seem to get False Alarms where the TELESPY phone calls, but there is no intruder. But for the price, I am not going to complain. I still like the phone and arm my home with this phone each time I leave. It's just another layer of security I use for my home. DONALD on 7/22/2007, said: I use this with a VOIP telephone line(don't have to worry about phone line being cut) and it works great. Calls my cell phone so if intruder comes into house you have stored voice mail of all that went on in house in 30 second bites. Set the cell phone ring tone for a call from that number so when it rings you know it is an intrusion alarm. Great for the price. The phone line that comes with the phone is worthless. After changing the line to one of my extra phone cables the phone works fine. So I'll give it a 3 stars instead of my first 1. I called them and talked to them while they were in my house, and was able to communicate with them through the answering machine. When I hung up, the Telespy kicked back on and continued to call me, keeping an open line through to the house, with which I was able to listen in on what was going on. I silenced the ringer on my cell phone, and later that evening, when I went to check my messages, I had recordings of what was being said in my house! Pretty awesome. Been using it for several days now with no false alarms. For the money, you can't beat this product.
