The TeleSpy is a clever and reliable combination of a telephone, a motion sensor and a microphone. The TeleSpy is an ordinary telephone that doubles as a monitoring system. Simply enter any phone number you want the unit to call and turn the motion sensor switch to on. Should motion be detected the phone will dial the number entered and upon answering you will be able to listen in via the amplified microphone on the unit. The TeleSpy allows you to decide from a safe location if it is a friend or foe before you call the police. The listening period is about 30 seconds, then the TeleSpy disconnects and instantly re-arms to detect again and again. TeleSpy operates from any phone line, requires no installation, and is completely portable. No monitoring fees, No false alarms. Click Here for TELESPY Details & Specifications

Now buying my third Telespy phone: installed in my front office where computers are, I can tell when my secretary or sales staff arrive, as this innocent looking device calls my iPhone within 7 seconds of motion in the room. I get to know when they arrive, or leave, and get to hear the commotion or conversations in the room. For the first month or so, my staff just thought it was a phone not to use. (I put an 'Out of Order' note on it.) The fun began: I could call just a minute after they arrived and say "it's time you got to work!" or, "you are on time, thanks for being there." Now, if my iPhone gets a call from my office late at night, and I hear lots of commotion in the office, I know to call the PO and say "there's just been a shooting at _____ location." Because I'm just a few minutes away. See, alarm systems scare them off after they broke your windows or doors, this device does not alarm them, so we can catch the bastards!

Absolutely fantastic in every respect. 100% reliable. I am house sitting at my daughters house and had my dog with me so I set my telespy before I left home, when my wife went to our house on her way home from work the telespy called me. I could hear my wife dialing my cell phone from her cell phone. It was very reasurring. The 2 jack ports on the side of the phone are for a dry contact, like for a window alarm. Most people will never use this feature but it's nice to know the company plans ahead like that.

The unit not only warns of motion in the detection field but will also call the designated phone number if there's a temporary power outage or glitch. The microphone stays on long enough to leave sound on voicemail if one misses the call. We've used ours continuously for over a year without any problems.

A handy gadget, motion detecter works good, and calls as advertised, but condencer microphone not any good, does not pick up hardly any sound, even next to unit. also, instructions do not tell what the two jacks (in/out) are for or the type plug required.
