John on 10/25/2008, said: This remote is the way to go. It gives you feedback from the controller so you can be sure that your command was received, and you can check the system's status, too. It gives feedback by two tri-color LEDs using flashes and beeps that initially seems pretty complicated but becomes intuitive quickly. Setup is simple and it works just like the directions say. It's quite a bit larger than the 5804. It's about the size of a deck of cards, so it's no good to keep on your key ring. The range isn't fantastic, but it's good enough. Mine won't work until I'm right up to the garage, but it's reliable from there. Between the 5804 and the 5804BD I would definitely recommend the 5804BD.
