Do you own a business and wonder if anyone is sneaking in or out the back door? With the STI 6400 – Exit Alarm Door Alarm the mystery is no longer. This door alarm will stop anyone in their tracks who tries to leave or enter without permission.

The STI 6400 can be mounted on top, right, left, or next to almost any door metal or wooden. It is a stand-alone device that works off a sensor. Once installed, the user can program it to be used as an alarm or as an annunciator that will let you know if someone has entered or exited the building.

Here’s how the STI 6400 works when it is in alarm mode - If the protected door is opened, the electronic door alarm blares out an ear piercing alarm for 30 seconds, three minutes, or continuously (as preset by the user). A key operated override can then silence the alarm and allow authorized exits. In the annunciator mode the alarm announces a door entry or exit with a set of 5 beeps.

The STI 6400 can also be programmed for a 15 second alarm delay to allow for authorized entry or exit, or it can be set to immediate. In addition, the device can be set for a piercing 105 db warning horn or if you choose, a softer 95 db warning.

The depth of the alarm device is 2 inches and the dimensions are about 5 X 5 inches. The alarm comes in a very noticeable red and the housing is made of a polycarbonate which is virtually indestructible.

The STI 6400 kit comes complete with tamper-proof screws and anchors for mounting, a 9 volt DC battery, and a keyed locking mechanism. Plus each kit comes with a medium size alarm warning sticker and a keychain. There is a lifetime guarantee against breakage of the alarm’s housing and a one year guarantee on the electronic components.

Remember, with the STI 6400 no one can slip out of your office or home unnoticed. This can help to protect elderly people, children, and teenagers from getting out of the house when they shouldn’t be doing so and you can do so within a budget.

For the price, this is an excellent entry and exit door alarm. We are installing them on the doors leading into dorms, to prevent anyone from using them except in an emergency. This effectively eliminates any problems with fire code violations (propped end doors), and lessens the risk of intruders. I researched all the paddle type door alarms, but they just were no cost effective. If you are on a limited budget, this is an excellent product for the buck. I've tested them and they are plenty LOUD, and we'll likely use them on the default settings (30 seconds). The only thing that would be nice, is if they dropped the price for ordering over 10, and if the unit itself reset in a shorter amount of time (say 15 seconds) if the door was pulled shut and the contacts reconnected. Just a few suggestions, but the model doesn't accomodate this. Looking forward to having them installed by our maintenance staff and seeing how they work for us.

The price per value on this product compaired to other alarms out thier is great. Most sell for over $200.00 and work the same. We were very satisfied and are ordering seven more for our whole location.

Works great. Had another product before and had constant false alarms. Not even one with this product.
