I mash the button for five seconds and still sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm going to try the 5804BD next. II plugs in and no programing. you get to use them right out of the box. Once everything is programmed into 5804 key fob they will work great and last a long time. Since my garage door is armed with a sensor I can pull out of my garage, close my door and then arm my system as I pull away. My only compliant is I don't have any verification that my system is armed. It would be nice if there was a feedback tone or signal letting you know that the system has received my signal and has armed the system. As it works right now I'm never really sure.
