David on 12/23/2008, said: As a sensor, these work great. Keep in mind they are bigger than you will expect when you get them. I put them on some out of the way windows, because of their size. Go with the micro if size matters. Other than size, there is nothing wrong with these. Also they only come with screws for mounting. You can mount with double sided tape that you have to supply. The sensor allows a pretty good size gap. The tamper switches are a great feature and are tested when the sensor is 'learned' into the system. They have excellent range. I have my panel in the basement and it easily 'learned' a sensor two floors up on the opposite end of the house. They are a bit bulky (1 1/2 in. X 3 1/8 in.) so make sure they will fit your application. Overall, a great product at the best price on the web, thanks to the Home Security Store. These have a tamper switch if cover removed. Recommend. Simon system is very user friendly. Have had for 3 months with no problems.
