Anonymous User on 4/9/2012, said: If it was a little bit less bulky I'd give this a 5th star. I've had 11 of these in use at my home for over 10 years and never had any problem with them. Have changed the batteries just once, about a year ago, so I got 9 years from them. Tip: if you put multiple magnets on a window you can protect yourself with the window closed all of the way (normal position) or open a bit but still too small to squeeze through. Sensor worked at a gap distance of over 1inch, which really helped with a few difficult installations. Some complained that the sensor was difficult to open, but if you refer to the direction you will learn that the sensor opens easily by squeezing the cover.
