Basically I like this motion detection device. It does work. However, the only drawback is you have to test your alarm system to make sure the motion detector is active. I've noticed that sometimes the motion detector stops working and I have to open the device to reset it. I only have one of these so I'm not sure if its a fluke or not. I do intend to buy another.

We have two house cats. I installed one of this pet immune detectors in the hallway of our house. I expected to get false alarms as soon as both cats ran down the hallway at the same time. After many months of using and/or testing the detector we have not had one false alarm. During testing we proved the cats could run up and down the hallway with no issues, but if a person even started to enter the hallway the alarm would trip.
