I've had this Keypad in use for 6 years (purchased right here at Home Security Store)) and it has been solid as a rock. It has stood the test of time and worked just as advertised (as have all the GE CADDX products I own). The GE CADDX is the best security system I've owned and I've owned (3). Programming using this Keypad is a real treat vs using a keypad that does not have an LCD display. With the new version of this Keypad that also includes a wireless receiver (NX148E-RF) I would pick that particular Keypad if buying today because it is a greater value than buying the NX-148E plus the NX-548E to get the same capability. You won't regret buying GE CADDX products for their dependability, flexibility and performance.
