Yes, it does everything as advertised, but there should be a disclaimer warning novices that the programming is extremely complicated. I understand that professionals require the complexity, but your average homeowner looking for a simple system may get in over their heads with this one. I was totally in disbelief when the instructions said to drill holes in the wall and insert the antennas of the keypad inside the wall. I didn't think the transmitters would be able to transmit a signal to the receiver. ..How wrong I was. All 7 of my wireless transmitters are able to reach the keypad/RF receiver without a problem. The distance recommended is 100 ft. overall this unit is well worth the $$ I paid. The unit has a high teck look when you close the front panel. This unit has excellent features. Highly recommended.
