TT100

Terry on 7/27/2008, said: I did all my wiring in a fully insulated attic. So this came in handy. I would drill a hole in the ceiling, push a wire up in the ceiling hole, connect the tone generator to the wire, then use the tracer to help find the wire in the attic. At times I would find the wire buried under insulation or blocked by a piece of wood. The only issue I found was that you do need to be within inches of the signal (the wire). If you are a couple of feet or more from the wire, the tracer will not likely find the wire.
