Audio Communication

Wireless Device Enrollment
A simplified wireless device enrollment process greatly reduces overall installation times. Installers no longer need to manually program serial numbers or wireless attributes. Instead, a series of enrollment screens prompt installers to confirm Electronic Serial Numbers (ESN), zone numbers and zone type. If an installer attempts to enroll a device already recognized by the system, the keypad will identify it as a duplicate and display its assigned zone and ESN.

Template Programming
Programming the self-contained wireless alarm system is simplified through template programming. It allows installers to quickly program the functions required for basic operation by entering a 4-digit code. Code prompts exist for pre-defined zone definitions, reporting code formats, communication call directions, and DLS setup. Once the 4-digit code has been programmed, the installer is then prompted to enter the monitoring station telephone number and account code, DLS access code, entry and exit delays, and installer code.

Compatibility
The PowerSeries 9047 is compatible with all DSC 433 MHz wireless devices.

I have been an alarm tech for 15 years, and programming some systems is not that easy, even for someone who does it every day. That is why there are professional alarm technicians. You are saving money by buying off of the internet and doing it yourself, you should expect that you will have to call for assistance. Would you expect to buy a home triple bypass kit off of a website and do it yourself with no assistance? That is why there are doctors. And this is why there are professional alarm techs. I had to call technical support to help me with programming, even though the call was only a few minutes long, the fact is I had to call. Not easy for a novice to program. I also wish that there was a practical way to test the wireless glass break detectors. On the bright side, I do like the recessed wireless door transmitters, I'm glad I didn't have to have an exposed transmitter attached to the door and frame. John E.
