I keep the garage door closed as much as possible because I have bikes and such that bad guys seem to like. My two add on sensors have been more the disappointment as they seem to give false alarms in the middle of the night. A little unnerving. I am on-line here to replace them. It's worth it to me. One thing I like its the portability of the sensors. I move them around in and out of my house depending on what I need. By an open window at night or across the driveway if expecting company. However, you should know that the wind will cause rustling that will set it off. So, I like it, buying another cause they are cheap and functional to my needs. I got the motion alert plus and an extra motion sensor and mounted them above the windows. Now no one can get by without alerting us inside. Eric on 10/9/2009, said: I bought this unit thinking Im probably just throwing my money away. A system that is only $31.00 cant be verry good. They proved me wrong Im really impressed. The motion sensor was easly set up in my woodworking shop about 100' away and the receiver in my bedroom. The sensor sensitivity is on the low seting and detects movement imediatly.Cant ask for anything better.
