It couldn't be much easier to use - just plug in-between RJ31X and alarm system. I used with a PowerMax+ and it functions fine.

I had trouble with the dsl system with noise. I purchase this filter and installed it in about 1 minute. It worked excellent right away. I did have a glitch a couple of days ago when all my phones didn't work, and when I unplugged this filter, everything worked again. I was about ready to order a new one, but after plugging in the unit again everything works fine. I think maybe just contacts dirty. Anyway I am quite happy with the filter. I highly recommend it.
