ELK-TS07 - ELK 7 Inch Touchscreen Keypad

As a Windows CE device, the TS07 is actually a small computer. It has a CAT5 modular Ethernet port connector on the back which allows it to be connected directly to a LAN (local area network) router/switch. Connection to an ELK-M1 or M1EZ8 Control panel is accomplished by the addition of an ELK-M1XEP Ethernet Interface (separate purchase) which installs between the controls main serial port and the LAN.

For ultimate ease of installation, the TS07 features PoE (Power over Ethernet) compliance. All that€s needed is a PoE compliant LAN router/switch or a mid span injector device to be able to power the touchscreen directly through the same CAT5 Ethernet cable that connects it to the network! Just think, no more wasted time hunting for a convenient AC outlet or running additional DC power wires! Mid span injectors and router/switches with PoE technology are the latest innovation and can be bought at most computer supply stores. For cases where PoE is not readily available, the TS07 is packaged with a plug-in 110VAC to 12VDC 4 Amp Power Supply.

When connected to a LAN that has high speed Internet service, the TS07 is fully capable of internet browsing. Internet Explorer is pre-installed as part of the Windows CE operating system. Think about it, you can surf the web just like a standard PC, and, with the built-in ElkRM software, you can set up "Links" for easy access to frequently visited websites.
