DVCCMNV817 - Bullet Camera with 30 IR Leds

The DVCCMNV817 - Bullet Camera with 30 IR Led’s is efficient and compact and makes for a great addition to any surveillance system. The camera casing is about the size of a soda can. The camera can see during the day or night as it produces both color and black and white images, depending on the time of day. The camera can even work in the water because of it special waterproof design.

The DVCCMNV817 - Bullet Camera has a range of about 40 feet (at night) to 90 feet (during the day). The camera’s 1/3 inch CCD image sensor is made by Sony, one of the most popular and respected brands in the surveillance business.

The Bullet Camera’s casing and overall design is made by Atrix, Inc. The camera has 480 TV lines of resolution and has a 3.6 millimeter fixed lens built in for wide angle viewing, which is wider that the average camera. Here’s what one consumer had to say.

For instance, you couldn't see a license plate on a car, from a camera mounted 25 feet away. Getting a detailed face, they have to be within 15 feet. Good for monitoring the approaches to your house, day or night.”

This camera is simple to install and to operate. Plus it can plug into any DVR recorder that uses a BNC connector. It can also be viewed on most TV’s with an AV input.

The camera comes with a sturdy bracket which can be mounted on the ceiling or wall. The housing of the camera is well made with aluminum alloy for excellent construction.

The only thing that was a little intimidating is the thickness of the cables used (BNC cable with adjoining power cable) and I had a little difficulty trying to run 4 of these thick, heavy cables bundled together through tight spaces -but it was well worth it in the end! *Note, I discovered that when recording at full resolution capacity of the DVR, when I download the video and open it in a video editing program where I can zoom in, I can clearly see a license plate on a car parked over 80ft from the camera..
