The DL-125C is a programmable speech dialer, designed for verbal reporting of alarm, emergency and technical events via telephone and paging networks.
Typical applications include upgrading alarm control panels that do not have a dialer, emergency reporting for individuals that require assistance, supervision of unattended machines and processes, reporting of technical failures (in refrigerators, heating and other equipment), reporting of environmental disasters (fire, gas leak, flooding, etc.), and a wide variety of other reporting applications.

The DL-125C is an automatic, programmable speech dialer designed for the verbal reporting of two separate events. Each event can be reported to four different remote telephones.

It's not bad at all. But if I was to do it over again, I still would likely buy this...but might research some of the other dialers for additional features and ease of use. Here are some examples.... Programming is not bad. Requires firm keypresses and patience to verify the keypad recognizes your entries. Notification of parties of intrustion with a voice message is something we wanted...but does take some getting used to with this device. When you pick up the phone or review your message...the first time it plays the message...it is typically somewhere in the middle rather than starting at the beginnning. Still works OK if the listener is patient and is willing to sit and listen to the message play through and start over. Also, even if the caller does pick up the phone the first time...the dialer tends to call back repeatedly. That works OK for us...but it might irritate a 911 or sheriffs call center. Also, it has no speaker so you can't play back your messages from the keypad. To review your message you have to trigger an alarm and listen through your phone. The microphone seems to be very good. After an alarm sounds, it calls you, and you press the right button to listen in....you do hear whatever is going on in the room very well. There is no ability to call in and listen remotely. To do this, it has to call you.... But that works fine for us.
