Arrived today. I had it installed and working in 10 minutes. Simple to program and use. If I had known how easy this was I would have bought one years ago.

Very good! Easy to install, and seems just as durable as my past Lift Master keypad was, and the Craftsman on my wife's door. The reviewer below me must have very high expectations! Anyway, I'm very satisfied with the product and we even bought one for the in-laws for christmas!

This is one poorly designed product! Dumb! First of all, any numeric keypad for opening a garage door is presumably designed to sort out friends from strangers. Since strangers are not inside people's houses, then the keypad must have been intended for use outside. Why then is it not designed for outdoors? Nothing is sealed, all electronics is exposed. This thing will corrode and fail in few weeks at the most, sooner if it gets rained on. Next, the keypad is a fairly big package, with lots of empty space inside. Down, tucked in a corner, are two expensive miniature coin batteries, where an ordinary kind would have been cheaper and lasted much longer. Next, the battery compartment is designed to be opened from the front side, and with ordinary screwdriver! That means that anyone who can not open the garage can easily steal the batteries .... and you will not open the garage neither. That is, if he does not knock off the whole keypad with a hand, because it is mounted with two ordinary little screws .... also accesible from the front. Next, the signal range is poor, about 50 feet. This thing will not work reliably from 75 feet. If you buy it anyway, please note the misleading instructions. During programming, the receiver "learns" to recognize the keypad, but it still does not work. To recognize the actual keypad code, separate procedure elsewhere in the instructions needs to be followed.
