Monitor the status of your garage door from inside your home. No longer will you have to run downstairs or go outside just to see if you or your children have left the garage door open. Simply affix the sensor to the inside of your garage door, and plug the indoor receiver into a standard AC outlet. The receiver's red LED will flash when the door is open.

VERY easy to install; took me about 2 minutes. I have the main (large) unit about 30 feet from the small sensor (which attaches to the garage door). The main unit uses a 12 volt system that must be plugged into an electrical outlet. None of the photos show the electrical wiring. Plus, the descriptions never mention that the unit must be plugged in (which is misleading). But, this gizmo works as advertised.

I used to forget to close the garage door night. This garage door sensor has worked great! I put the indicator in my bedroom upstairs and check for the green light before I go to bed at night. Well worth the money instead of having to run downstairs to check every night.

I have had for several months, once in a while it has a signal interruption which makes the light go red...like a false alert..makes you think the garage door is up - so I just unplug to reset and then it goes back to green for the most part it works really well ... I find it a nice feature with the garage door.

This unit worked intermittently when I first bought it. Since then, I've just ignored it. Sometimes it says the door is open when it's closed. New batteries don't help. If you have to receive the signal through a garage wall and then your house wall, I don't think the signal is strong enough.
