After fiddling with it for about 30 minutes I installed it. No idea where te clip is supposed to go but maybe I got it right. One question: would it kill DSC to provide an instruction manual - I am not a locksmith!

Get it, even if your not interested in securing the panel. Chances are the panel door won't stay closed and you can use this to just lock the panel door in place.
