The BX-80N creates a multi-layered, horizontal barrier that detects intruders and sounds the alarm before they actually break in. One BX-80N can protect-up to 80ft. (40ft in each-direc tion)-because it is installed in the center of the detection area and protects on both sides.

I have had two of these sensors on my house for ten years now and I have only had to replace one of the units after 8 years of being in almost continuous, harsh Australian sunshine. They have performed faultlessly and nobody but nobody has ever managed to get passed them with out tripping the alarm. I would recommend them to everyone. Cheers.
