The BX-80N creates a multi-layered, horizontal barrier that detects intruders and sounds the alarm before they actually break in. One BX-80N can protect-up to 80ft. (40ft in each-direc tion)-because it is installed in the center of the detection area and protects on both sides.

Excellent detectors, I have 3 and they are very effective with no false alarms. They create an impenetrable curtain of security across two exterior entertainment/deck areas. Using the NX-650 transmitters they also provide a nice chime alarm when the panel is in disarm mode.
