The Bravo5 is a ceiling mount detector designed to provide reliable motion detection for residential and commercial applications. The Bravo5 uses a special Fresnel lens made for 360° detection in conjunction with a quad element PIR sensor optimized for uniform detection all around its field of view. Special attention is given to false alarm immunity against RF, static, electrical transient to ensure trouble free operation for many years.

Nice easy to install unit, but I have had several false trips over the years. Unit is not a dual PIR like the Bravo 6 that requires both sensors to be activated in order to alarm. Have had more false trips during warmer weather in the night when things are cooling down and generating air currents.

Nice look. Easy to install. Operate great, but the caverage area is about 4.5 meter diameter for me (installed 3meter hight).

This detector is awsome and so much faster to install and since installation no false alarms. I mounted one on a cathedral type ceiling in a bedroom and we hav 99 percent coverage just puch your drill or long screw driver through the point of attachment and pull the wire through and mount my total installation time was less then 20 minutes
