Had a new front door installed and needed to add the front door to the alarm system again. Installation was a breeze. Used an eyeglass screwdriver to untighten the terminals, then stripped the existing wire from the frame, inserted the wires and tightened again. A quick drill of 3/8 in the new door for the magnet and I was back in business. Tested the magnet before install and it has a great range. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to replace a contact.

Replaced old door contact that had rust due to improper installation. Works well in Ademco system. Monitoring company wanted to charge $140 to replace door contact.

Works great. No need to solder wires, need a very small screw driver like the one you would use for eye glasses.
