This light fits perfectly with just the thumb screw on the roughly 1 x 1/2 inch U shaped post that holds my security sign. This sign disappears at night but for this light. The light is bright enough but does not last too long, though it has not received much of a charge during the winter where I have it placed. It should do fine if it is not in shade part of the day.
