A Camera for the Next Generation

With its cutting-edge features and groundbreaking design, the Lorex Vantage Wireless Home Security Camera allows you to stay connected to your surveillance from anywhere on the planet. Suitable for both residential and commercial applications, this innovative device streams live video with high-quality picture, enables you to view up to 16 simultaneous channels, and even allows you to communicate with the camera via two-way audio. Simply put, wireless IP cameras don't get much better than this.

Total Wireless Freedom

This camera boasts a wealth of valuable features, but perhaps best of all, it requires no external DVR box or computer. Just manage and view everything straight from your mobile device, and experience true freedom and convenience. This 16-channel system enables you to incorporate additional cameras into your network and monitor up to 16 separate locations at once. Once again, no PC is necessary. All of your cameras are linked via Cloud Connection. The Vantage Wireless Home Security Camera is compatible with iOS, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Windows and Android. Just download the app for your smartphone or tablet and enjoy total home surveillance right at your fingertips. You can even receive automatic push notifications if the IP camera detects activity.

Sophistication Built Simple

You can use your camera with an Ethernet cable, or over Wi-Fi or WPS. The device incorporates its own DVR to conserve memory space and flexibility to your home monitoring experience. Thanks to the flexible indoor mounting surface, you can place the camera almost anywhere. Get crystal clear images with 640x480 high-resolution VGA and Lorex Vantage Stream, and even stream video 24/7. It's not just for personal home surveillance, but also for businesses, vacation homes, and any other property that requires remote monitoring.

Dual Lens Technology

The camera's dual lens technology enables you to capture enhanced daytime images and flawless low-light images with equal perfection. You can even shoot in black-and-white night vision with a maximum 30-foot range, and enjoy the added power of built-in infrared LED lights. This inventive camera is perfect for just about any environmental condition that comes along, and Home Security is pleased to offer it at a value you won't find anywhere else.

Record, Playback and Share

The Vantage Wireless Home Security Camera uses H.264 compression, which means clear images and small file sizes. Store more of the recorded footage you need without sacrificing quality. You can schedule recording times in advance, or set the camera for motion activation. Advanced playback features even allow you to search archives by year, month, date and exact time. You won't find a more complete all-in-one surveillance experience, and the camera even allows you to save and document your favorite footage. Does your cat love to tear at the toilet paper roll when you're out of the room? Catch it on film and share it directly to YouTube, Facebook and other social networking sites.

Fast Communication

Using the 2-way audio feature, you can communicate back and forth with your system with absolute ease. Let's say, for instance, that you're at home in Los Angeles and you catch someone snooping around your vacation in Key West, Florida. You can hear them and talk back to them instantly. Best of all, you have full control over your system. You can grant access to up to 20 users, allowing them to view your footage online only when you want them to, and your security is always assured with encrypted password protection.

Protect What Matters Most

Are you looking for a camera that's truly versatile, powerful and easy to use? Protect what matters most and take full control over your life with this technologically sound and user-friendly Wireless Network Camera from Lorex.

This Camera does exactly what it says it can do. Had no problem setting up the Wireless only because I understood the process, I read the instructions. I also used the Lorex Support Site to view the "Up and Running in under 2 minute" Video, very helpful. Yes what we all want is a device twice the size so it can offer a speaker, just plug in an old Computer Speaker that you have in a drawer somewhere. By adding the speaker will allow two-way talk which is pretty cool especially for that 95 year old Mom in Korea. This IP Camera is simple and very functional and I plan to purchase many more. Thanks Lorex for a straight forward solution.

Great IP camera. I am using this camera to watch my mother (95y.o) in Korea. Installation is very simple and easy ( almost plug-in, I am not good on computer). Picture is excellent and vivid. If I may ask more, then I hope it covers wider angle. My brother in another country and I can watch my mom every minutes from my smartphone and computer. Highly recommend this IP camera.

This camera was easy to install (it took about 10 minutes) and the instructions were pretty self explanatory! I am pleased and will likely buy some more for my home!

This thing is driving me nuts. I have lots of cameras and a DVR with lots more but nothing like this. The good. It has a ton of feature that I love and the video is the best of the cameras I have. It is not overly hard to connect to my network (actually pretty easy). It also has the best power cord I have seen. It has to be 15 feet long so you can route it nicely. The BAD I can view this camera over the internet till I pull the network cable. I read in the previous post that the camera has to be rebooted after that. No Go. All I get is "Camera Offline" and that is driving me nuts because I can see it on my LAN. Also this Camera is only viewable over the Lorex Cloud Network so you have to use their app. Every other camera I own ports through the intranet to my IP Cam Viewer app which I do truly love. To see this I have to open a different app. If you are only going to by Lorex cameras I guess it would be ok but this not doing it for me.

I purchased this camera about 2 weeks ago as I wanted to monitor a vacation home. I bought it because the flyer says it easy install and reaction. Well connected directly to my router, it turned on and paired right away. When I tried to make it a wireless camera, I ran into all kinds of problems and spent the better part of a day trying to get it working. Finally did as a wifi camera mated to my router. Key is once you have paired it while hard wired, when you unplug the hard line , re boot the camera !!! That's all it was keeping it from connecting. No where does it say to do that except on Lorex home page, but after that; it works just fine. Night feature is fine as it switches automatically when the light drops off. Pro: small, hides well and is easily accessed from iPhone , iPad or Internet on Mac computer Con: hard to set up wireless feature, but it will work. DON'T forget to re-boot the camera after disconnecting the cable from the router !! I would recommend it !

Camera was very easy to set up. Setup and registration led me to believe I had to implement DDNS, not so. Not being a smart phone user I was surprised that all I had to do was install Lorex app to view remotely. Video quality is configurable and PIR alerts are easy to set.

Night vision is horrible, no built in speaker, mediocre video quality. Setup and apps are fantastic.

Setup, the mobile android app, and ease of use are fantastic. The quality of the video especially the night vision is not so good. If you want to be able to talk back through the mobile app you need to plug in a speaker. For what it cost it should have a built in speaker and better quality camera/picture. Make sure after you get it connected and running you go into the app on your computer to adjust the camera settings. It comes with outdoor setting, so if you don't change it for indoors the picture will be really horrible.
