I represent Lansing Correctional Facility and we recently purchased a PC5510 Alarm Panel and a PC5508 Keypad plus some PIR devices. I was in charge of installing the system and ran into a problem in programming the panel when ready for activation. I called your Technical Support Department and was surprised to be able to talk to a Human Being and was even more surprised by the excellent help I received. I have had many sour experiences in trying to obtain technical support for computer related systems and really appreciated the help I received. The person was friendly, and very Technically Competent. Your service in this day and age is remarkable, Thanks so much and please pass my compliments on to your Technical Support Department.

Having owned other homes with security alarm systems, (and being a recently retired police detective), when I built my retirement home on the Oregon coast, I quite naturally began researching systems that could be "self-installed" I eventually settled on a Visonic PowerMax sold by your company. However, no matter how careful one is, you can never be certain you have made the right choices regarding companies and products. I must say that I have been very pleasantly surprised by the The Home Security Store and thought you deserved to hear about it. Seldom have I had to return item(s) for repair or replacement and received such prompt, friendly, no-hassel assistance. No quibbling, reluctance, no charges. And on several occasions I had to call for some technical advice on "set-up", every time I got a knowledgeable person who knew what to do. A special thanks to "Fred" in the Tech section, who was of great assistance, promised me a quick turn-around on control panel when I needed it. I have numerous additional items I will be purchasing in the future as I upgrade my alarm system over the coming months, and I will certainly make your company my first choice. Likewise, as I continue to show the system to friends and family, you can believe me when I say that I will speak highly of your company. Thanks again.

I recently bought a DSC alarm system from your company. I had seen the system at a local locksmith/home security store in my area but the price and lack of knowledge of the sales person drove me look else where for it. I had to many questions to order it on-line so I called and got Fred. He answered all my questions, made allot of good suggestions and made me feel confident about ordering from the company knowing that if I needed help it would be there. I got the whole system installed and during that process I had a question about the control panel hook up and talked to Matt who answered my question and provided some setup advice also. When I turned the system on it did what Matt said would do based on my normally closed loops with no eol resistors so I was not surprised with the trouble light. I call the support line and got Fred and he walked me through the whole setup process with no problems while answering bunch more questions from me. Please believe me when I say that these men are a real asset to your company. I've dealt with allot of suppliers and help lines over my years in the electronics field and can't remember any as good your people. I didn't have to pull anything out of them, they know the systems like they were born working on them and have excellent telephone skills. They sound up beat and confident. I would have no reservations recommending someone deal with your company.

I recently purchased a DSC 5010 security panel from your website. After installing the panel I had problems programming the partitions and ended up with the keypad not responding to commands. I called your technical support line and talked to Matt. I just wanted to let you know that Matt was very knowledgeable about the hardware and gave me the exact steps I needed to correct the problem. I work with computers and deal with support calls every day. I know the difficulty in dealing with people who are not familiar with certain aspects of software and hardware installation. Matt appears to have the ability to get right to the problem and find a resolution quickly and effectively. I will recommend your website to my friends. Keep up the good work.

They were not listed on-line at your web site, so I called and your staff were very helpful and seemed to really care about getting me what ever I needed. I talked to a person named Teresa and someone else (I am sorry I did not write the name down). Please let your staff know that they are wonderful.

I was a bit unsure if I could put in the alarm myself, but Freddy assured me that he could walk me through it. Well we walked through the final programming last week and the system works great. This past week I took on the challenge of installing an alarm system myself. I consider myself to be a handyman or at least someone that likes to tinker but with no experience in wiring alarms. The least of my fortes is electricity. When I called the Security Store to place my order you were very knowledgeable and patient with me, which I appreciated a lot. I know from my own experience that when one is working with customers on the phone all day it sometimes is tough to give service with a smile. I could sense your smile from the other side of the phone. This is very important from a marketing and sales perspective and you guys succeed at it. On the technical front I can't begin to tell you what a good job Freddy did with me. Freddy helped me through every step that I needed help with, there were many. He always told me not to hesitate and call him back with any concern that I might have. There were many occasions where I just couldn't find the answer in the DSC manuals and Freddy would help me out or even give me suggestion to solve the problems I was encountering or would encounter. Hence I have successfully installed a DSC power 832 with a 5500 keypad with all sorts of bells and whistles. DSC has an 800-tech number but I preferred spending the money on a long distance call because of the superior service given to me by Freddy. I will not hesitate in using your company in the future nor will I hesitate in recommending it!!!!! You guys are great!!!!!! Thank you very much.

Dear Home Security Store, While shopping for an alarm system I came across your web site. At first I was uncertain about purchasing a home security system mail order. I wanted the convenience of being able to make a phone call or trip to my local shop. However, after viewing your web site, downloading manuals, and corresponding via e-mail I am very satisfied! My first order from you was received in a timely manner. Everything was packed nice & neatly. I was even able to track it via UPS. When I get ready to add to my system I am ordering more from your store. When my friends come over and 'oooh' and 'ahhh' over my system I'm going to refer them to you. Thank You Very Much!

This is my second experience with the Home Security Store. The first I had to return the item and without hesitation or question they were very helpful and told me to wait until I saw the credit on my account before re-ordering.
