I use it to browse the web when I'm lounging on the couch and I can use it to control my security system. Two in One device. Love it.

App is great but the MID-7H is HORRIBLE battery last about on hr its really slow. Touch screen is junk need styles. They just need to allow us to download the app and use on our own devices.

Junk. App is great but plan on using a stylus all the time. There is a note when you open it up that says to use the very tip of your finger for touchscreen. I could not even get it to unluck by swiping my finger across the screen. I tried different speeds and fingers. When I used the stylus to finally unlock it, I tried using the keypad and it would select the buttons below the ones I was trying to push, and yes I tried calibrating the screen. Also when trying to swipe through settings it would randomly select things as I was swiping. When using it on a website and you try to swipe down to scroll, it changes the zoom level on the page instead. This should only happen when two fingers are on the screen. I have both an iPad and an Android phone which work flawlessly, this thing is junk. If Honeywell is going to offer the 5100Connect app, they should allow you to put it on your own handheld device, but that's not the case. You have to buy this horrible tablet to get the app. The app itself is nice but I cannot bring myself to frustrate myself with this tablet. I wanted to throw it across the room the first 5 minutes I used it.
