Anonymous User on 5/3/2012, said: Product (4 cameras)arrived in good condition; the setup and installation went well and I had first setup and tested in my office; all my cameras are outside and the hard wiring of the power to the cameras took most of my time; I am not too impressed with the signal strength...3 of the cameras are from 50 to 125 feet away with only one wall to go through... 2 bars is typical on these; the 4th camera is outside 30 feet away (one wall) and I get 2 sometimes 3 bars; the result is that all the cameras (it is random as to which camera)are frequently going to "motion" recording mode..maybe once ever two minutes...loading the hard drive with hundreds of false recordings a day..tech support says it is because of the relatively weak signal. Plan on spending time learning and understanding the instruction manual...100 pages... to understand your systen and capabilities. Anonymous User on 1/27/2012, said: Was nervous about wireless, but thought it was worth a shot to avoid running wires. Install and set up were very easy. Cameras are both about 25ft from the base and signal goes through 3 standard walls/floor. I have five bars of signal strength with no drops. Lorex interface is very easy yet powerful. I did have trouble getting it to view online and via the iPhone but a quick two calls to Lorex set me up and it has been running perfect for a week now. My problems were ip confusion on my older router, but tech support was wonderful in fixing the issue. Would buy again! Hope I am not let down over time but so far all is well!!! Anonymous User on 9/28/2011, said: when I first got this setp up one of the camera lenses were broken so I am getting a replacement. Now yesterday my client calls and says the DVR is making a weird sound and they cant access the live footage. I check it out and it sounds like it sending morse code. After talking to the manufacturer they inform it it needs sent back. This unit lasted about 12 hrs before it died.
