Fast and Easy Wireless Installation
Because the system operates completely wirelessly, do-it-yourself installers have fewer holes to drill and wires to pull. The Alexor incorporates DSC's 2-Way Wireless Security Suite, a system that cuts down on enrollment time of accessories. Instead of running wires and configuring the accessories simply select each item's recognized code in the control panel and they're ready to go. 2-Way communication means little to no disruption in communication. Both the transmitters and receivers send signals back and forth for constant connection.
GSM
With an internal GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) Module, the Alexor alerts the home owner when activity occurs within their home. Landlines are no longer needed. A homeowner's cell phone will be contacted in case a burglar cuts the phone line. Monitor your property on your terms.
Everything You Need
The accessories included give you all the security you could ask for. Vanishing contacts protect entry points without disrupting your decor. A benefit of wireless technology, the indoor siren is not attached to the keypad, allowing you to place it anywhere you feel fit. The PIR (passive infrared) pet-immune motion detector allows your home to be armed even while the family pet roams the interior. The easy-to-use key fob allows for hassle-free stay arm, away arm, disarm and emergency control. This system is strategically designed to cater to your daily safety.
Additional Back-up Features
On top of all that, the system also provides additional back-up features via GSM/GPRS and IP communication streams. The TL265GS Internet and GSM/GPRS Dual-Path Alarm Communicator communicates via the IP or GSM/GPRS channels, and the GS2065 GSM/GPRS Wireless Alarm Communicator through the GSM/GPRS channel. Both provide additional back-up alarm communication methods (as opposed to traditional phone line communication). If the phone line is tampered with, Alexor will instantly switch over to one of the back-up communication streams for its alarm signals. With a practically plug and play connection to the Alexor, the communicators conveniently utilize the existing Internet connection and/or the GPRS data channel of the GSM network (depending on which communicator is chosen) to ensure high speed, reliable and secure alarm communications.
