The Concord 4 is truly a full-featured wired and wireless hybrid security system for intrusion and fire detection. (8 Hardwire zones & 96 Wireless zones) Simple to use, Concord's modular design and advanced software provide outstanding system flexibility to meet the needs of virtually any residential or commercial security application. The panel comes standard with eight hardwire zone inputs, including a 2-wire smoke detector loop that can handle up to 20 detectors. A built-in RF receiver with 96-zone capacity provides instant compatibility with the complete line of GE Security Learn Mode sensors.

Conduct quick and easy programming using your keypad, and a menu-driven text interface. A quick programming menu makes it even easier to install smaller, basic systems. Pressing a single button performs a system command, eliminating the need to enter in an entire command string. Each of the four macro buttons on these touchpads can be programmed to perform one system command per partition. System commands up to 14 key presses can be programmed. Macro keys can be used to create custom arming levels. For example, a user might create an arming level that would automatically bypass selected interior sensors to create a special "Night" mode setting so they can leave a specific window open.

Features

  • Two onboard programmable outputs
  • SIA CP-01 False Alarm Reduction Standard compliant
  • Panel auxiliary power provides 1 amp
  • 230 user-programmable access codes with programmable authority levels
  • 250-event history buffer viewable from any alphanumeric keypad
  • Time and status displayed on all touchpads
  • 16 schedules available for scheduled lighting and outputs

Please Note: The back-up battery & power supply are not included in this kit & are sold separately. Please see the Accessories section below for compatible hardware.

Just finished installing the Concord 4 alarm system for my new house. This is my first time installing an alarm system and it was easy. As usual, take the time to read the manual. It was overwhelming for me at first, but after reading it the 3rd time, everything made sense. I only had to call customer support once for a siren programming issue because I didn't like the default output programming.

I retired my Ademco Amgard II wireless system after 27 years only because I wanted more features. I wanted to stick to the Ademco line of products but I went with the GE Concord 4 and could not be more pleased with the system or the Home Security Store. Install was simple and straight forward for both hardwire and wireless zones. After reading the manual a couple of times I found it very easy to pay an installer a few dollars to help with programming. He could not believe I got so much for so little. His company would have charged more than double what I paid. One great feature is the built in dialer. It will call up to 5 phone numbers so I am able to call all of 4 of my phones and the monitoring company. THANKS HOME SECURITY STORE FOR A GREAT PRICE, PRODUCT AND SUPPORT. RJ

My name is Jacob and recently I purchased a GE Concord 4 security system from Home Security Store (and after speaking with Freddie, I purchased a few hundred dollars more in sensors). I chose HSS because of all the feedback I read regarding your support department, as well as the competitive pricing. I am writing this email to tell you that Freddie has done an outstanding job representing your company and providing support. Every response I get from him is prompt, accurate, and most importantly informative. Working in a support capacity myself I can appreciate the kind of effort people like Freddie put into their job, its what my customers demand of me as well. Personally I think this is what differentiates one vendor from another in a big way (and that's certainly how we operate here). I think we all know that most product support is abysmal at best, but Freddie has renewed my faith that there are still people working out there who care about the job, the customer, and the technology. In short, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and blown away by the assistance Freddie offered. You really have an outstanding employee on your hands deserving of recognition. Thanks for your time and consideration.

This was my first time installing an alarm system. Hardest part was wiring the keypad and speaker, and that was simple. I do not have any hard wired zones, so connecting the wireless sensors and motion detector was easy. Programming the system was pretty intuitive as well, although can be a little confusing. Read the manual a few times before installing. You will know exactly what needs to be done. There are many features that I probably will never use, but it's nice to know they are there if need be. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the ease of use and features of the system.

I have installed this system about a month ago, I installed with both wireless and wired sensors. I had no problems with the install, it took about 3 days, because of the wiring thru out the house, I used the nx-650 sensors on the wireless end of the system, because they gave me the option of wiring into extra hard wired contacts. The programing went better than i had expected, spend a couple days reading the manual, before the install. The wireless end was very easy. Most windows and doors are in zone 13, which the manual doesn't say anything about that zone.

Works well and all of the door sensors are working well. I had a lots of problems setting up all the menus and trying to figure what they do. I am an Electronic Technician and hooking everything up was no problem but that menu system is something else. This kit is not ready to go out of the box, you need: AC transformer, siren, and backup battery. Besides the kit I have spent another 200 dollars plus on parts so far. Also after I bought I found out I can't dial up my cell phone, that was one of the main reasons I bought this system. My old Radio Shack alarm did that and you could listen in also. As long as the remote door sensors keep working I will be happy. I am working on a remote dialer so it will call my phone. Good Luck

I went completely wireless with the sensors, all I had to wire was the touchpad and the speaker I bought separately. Figuring out how to get the system to learn the sensors took a couple of tries. Make sure you have the B appendix's open, knowing the group your sensor should be in is vital. No calls to HSS needed, figured it all out on my own over a weekend. Will probably buy additional sensors/touchpads as well.

I installed this product in my own home a couple of months ago. Although the manual is lengthy, the setup was not too complicated. The system really seems solid. I have not had any trouble over the past few months. Tech support at home security store had helped me to finalize a few outstanding configuration issues. They really know this system and can easily help you with setup and configuration. Glad I went this route rather than buying a crappy ADT.

Took me about 12 hours total to install this--including 4 hardwired PIRs, HW entry/exit, 2 keypads and 2 wireless devices. Once everything was wired, it took me about 2 hours to program. If you go all wireless it will be a breeze. If it had a wireless keypad, I'd have no complaints. The manual is not great, but service from this site is incredible. Once you get to the programming, make sure to use the shortcuts listed in the manual rather than trying to navigate all of the menus.

The best and friendliest tech support out there. It even comes with an understandable manual. The built in wireless is great no receiver to buy.

It took me about 6 hours and 4 phone calls to tech support to get this system installed. Most of that time was planning/reading and triple checking what I do. If had to install this system again it would only take about 2-3 hours. HSS tech support was great in helping me. I'm using alarm relay for the monitoring service and it was breeze to program the system in about 15 minutes.

I installed this kit with the Alarm.com service and I couldn't be happier. Installation wasn't that bad, and once it started working it is very easy to use. I highly recommend the service with Alarm.com, it works great!

The GE Concord system was very easy to install. Instructions looked overwhelming but easy after I got started. Trouble with some programming but tech support was fantastic and one 15 minute phone call answered my questions and got everything working. Very happy!
