This intercom does not include a AC converter, nor do they recommend anyone in specific. I tried repeatedly with the Company, but they simply would not recommend what power supply I should buy. The only adapter details they mention is that it should be a "12 Vdc 300mA DC Adapters with a 2.1mm connector plug". I surfed the internet for two days and was unable to locate this item. Of course there wee zillions of AC adapters but I was unsure which one would work with this particular intercom, so I gave up and threw these 3 stations in the garbage can and went ahead and bought myself another brand of wireless intercom. Besides that detail, I should mention that the quality of the audio was deficient, as well as the "microphone". Most exchanges between my wife and myself we had to quit attempting to use these intercoms, and opted to walk over to wherever the other one of us was at, and talk face-to-face.

Units are working very well. Once everybody learned not to go too fast. Also learned to put batteries in them even if using cord because at first i progammed them in one place with no batteries and cord only then unplugged them to place them in there designated places and they seemed to loose there program. I put batteries in them and repeted the process and then they worked great. Would recommend them.

Not happy with units. They do not transmit very far. Bought to talk from house to shop which is only 250 feet away with a light steel shell and half inch foam insulation. Unit will not transmit to shop. Buy a gmrs unit for $50 it will work wonders.

After moving into a 3-story house, I asked my husband for a set of these intercoms for Christmas 2010. They've been perfect for what we needed, saving us from having to yell through the house or go up/down 2 flights of stairs just to say something to someone else in the house. They were easy to set up. We have one on each floor of the house and have not had any problems with interference or sound quality. Voice quality is not clear like a telephone, but still easily understandable. You just have to remember to wait until the beep when you press the button before you start talking. Almost exactly a year after purchasing them, they needed fresh batteries. It was at that point that I discovered one of the units had gone bad. Changing the battery (twice, just to be sure) didn't help. Resetting all four units and re-syncing them didn't help - it just didn't work anymore. That's why I have given 4 stars instead of 5, but the other 3 units are still working just fine, and I would buy them again.

We got 8 of these wireless intercoms for use in our medical office. They are simple and quick to set up, easy to use, and the voice quality is fine. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an intercom system.

I've had these for a couple of months. We have them spread out over three levels in our home and they do exactly what they're supposed to do. The sound is perfectly clear. I've heard comments on other sites that it cuts the first few words off but you just have to wait a beat or two to begin speaking - not difficult. I'll be buying four more.
