The system has an easy installation process and requires only that you connect it to any available telephone jack. What this means is that several sensors can be placed anywhere in your home and can all be controlled from a single base-station. The current temperature and power status can be checked remotely using any phone in the world, and because each sensor has its own unique ID, you'll know exactly in which location the problem lies. The FA-1000 will call you continuously until the alarm condition is acknowledged with absolutely no monitoring fees required with the system.
Base Station
This is the device that plugs into your existing telephone line and calls you if alarm conditions are detected at your monitored location. The Base Station communicates with the wireless temp sensors and will alert you if one of the temp sensors detects water, if the battery in the sensor requires replacing or if the sensor has lost communication with the Base Station.
Wireless Temp Sensor
The Wireless Temperature sensor monitors for a change in temperature. When the temperature reaches the temperature alarm set-point, the sensor will sound a 90 decibel alarm and trigger the Base Station to call your programmed phone numbers and alert you of a temperature emergency. The sensor also transmits its battery and communication status to the Base Station. Up to 10 wireless sensors can be joined to one base station.
Telephone Cord
A telephone cord is supplied to connect the Base Station to a telephone wall jack at your monitored location.
