Have had this siren in my attic on an auxillary power module for years to augment another siren inside the opposite eve vent of the house. My next door neighbor can confirm that it is plenty loud when it goes off at 3:00 AM- LOL. Simple to hook up directly to 12 volt bell output terminals on aux. power module panel. Just bought another one for my garage/shed alarm system which I will connect directly to a DSC 1832 main panel.
