I have two of these units outdoor about 10 years now. Direct heat (sometimes over 100 degree in summer) and storm/rain on these units have not caused any damage, nor they affect their performance at all. (I have them used together with TR-10U and a siren.) Absolutely deserves 5 stars!

Have had this system for 5 years. Works great. Just now had to replace one of the outdoor motion detectors after 5 years of harsh Florida weather conditions.

Works like a charm, as expected. I had to play with it a bit to get it set up properly, but it was worth the minutes involved considering how well the system works. I highly recommend these add-on tranmitters!
