Pros: Well built, sturdy, waterproof sealing seems like it will hold. Installation wasn't too bad, but definitely easier if with 2 people. Gives a good amount of light in the area that I want. Cons: The light doesn't angle down very far. I installed these under the eve of the roof and a quarter of the light is beaming on the inside of the eve area. Cutting the motion masks were also a pain on requires some artistic talent to figure out where to place them. I'd rather see the timer dial listed in minutes not 1-9, which has no bearing on what I'm trying to do (make the light turn on for 5 minutes at time). Would buy again (actually, I have two of the 300W versions on the way).

I purchased two units and feel they work well. I've hard wired one of them to operate thru a photo cell that is fed from a single pole electronic dimmer that controls three other incandescent exterior lights in the same circuit...it functions as if it was direct wired from a single pole switch. They work great and with some tweaking cover the range I need. They also look good for the price, they are higher quality then the units from the big box stores at a better price as well. I'm pleased with the product and althought they've only been used for a few months I can comfortably say that I'm going to buy two more. We'll see if they last.
