Word of Caution -- These keypads draw a lot of power from the alarm system--double and triple check to make sure that your alarm will have enough power going to it when an alarm is triggered. I have two 6270 keypads on my Vista 20-PS system and when an alarm went off -- so did the keypads -- power failure to the keypads. Even the battery backup could not supply enough power. The only way to shutoff the siren was the cut the power to system and remove the battery backups.
