Anonymous User on 8/23/2010, said: I recently got the chance to test the Hot Shot unit. It is the easiest non lethal self defense device to use under stress. The Cloud is so big that you simply point it at the attacker and pull the trigger. The CO2 cartridge causes a loud pop which in itself is startling. I like the fact that this comes with a practice cartridge and training DVD that allows you to practice using this before an emergency. This is better than pepper spray because the powder is so finely atomized it gets into the eyes and lungs causing an immediate fit of uncontrollable coughing. This product almost made me throw up. I am sold on this device and while I have recommended other pepper spray products in the past this is my new choice for self defense.
