XAD700 - Xanboo Analog to IP CCTV Converter
Analog cameras (as opposed to digital) have their set of perks, but it can be frustrating to learn that plenty of sophisticated and convenient new technology is relegated strictly to the digital sector. Thanks to Xanboo, however, those of you with analog surveillance equipment can now bask in what the digital world has to offer.
The XAD700 by Xanboo is a device that allows legacy analog cameras to be used with your system by converting the analog signal into a digital one, making it possible to integrate your camera into the Xanboo Remote Viewing interface system. By utilizing the Converter with the Xanboo Gateway Module, you'll be able to easily view both real-time and archived video footage recorded with your analog camera using your web-enabled cellular phone or PC.
Adding to the convenience, the converter can also be used to generate alerts based on motion in the camera field of view, even if the camera does not support motion detection.
NOTE: You cannot control the Pan/Tilt position of the camera through the system.
