The Best Defense is a Good Offense

The WT4911 Wireless Outdoor Siren is a fully supervised wireless siren designed to work with the Alexor Wireless Panel. The WT4911 combines form and function to provide improved protection against intruders, before they get the chance to enter the home. With its powerful 105dB sounder, the WT4911 will enunciate unwanted entrance to property and premises. The accompanying strobe light also provides a visual warning and deterrent upon activation. The WT4911 distinguishes between burglar and fire alarm by emitting different sounds for each and indicates arm and disarm squawks.

Build Your Brand and Your Business

The WT4911 siren can be installed anywhere outdoors (or even indoors, for those requiring a louder siren) fast and easy. A large surface area on the siren allows for security company logos, increasing brand presence and awareness.

Secure, Continuous Communication with Added Benefits

The WT4911 offers 2-way wireless and continuously supervised communication with the Alexor Wireless Panel. The signals between the WT4911 and the panel are fully encrypted, prohibiting unauthorized interruption of communication between the two. If the WT4911 siren is disabled or tampered with, Alexor will immediately be signaled and the appropriate transmission will instantly be transmitted to the monitoring station. Additionally, one of the other sirens (either indoor or outdoor or Alexor's onboard siren itself) installed on the system will make up for the absence of the WT4911. Up to four sirens can be installed on the Alexor Wireless Panel.

Had this unit about 10 months when the temperature option failed. I test the unit each week and in the 14th month, I could barely hear the chirping of the alarm. Opened siren panel up to find it wet inside with some small puddles. Yes, I live in rainy southern Florida but the unit should be designed to handle this weather. The design allows for water to "rest" there. Contacted Home Security, said no warranty either by them or the manufacturer after 1 year. Don't buy ..

Do not buy this siren. After a year of use I can tell you that I had experienced infinitive problems with it. Every two days I experience a siren fault, the siren all of the sudden shuts down. when it rains the siren starts to beep, the reason? I donmt know...

Like all of the Alexor devices... It's fair, and almost there... Seems their product is the best available but still could use a few years of actual installer feedback. I am on my 50 th or so unit and am consistently working with a legacy of problems across the board.. Hoping they will get better.. But no end in sight. The outdoor siren is now on my list and I wont promote these anymore. I do suggest you limit your strobe and siren to just a few minutes, never enable squawk. None the less.. This product opens a few doors and I am going to stick with it for a while as these are flying off the shelf.. Just hope my future is not in Alexor maintenance !!!

Don't buy this device. First, it emits a weak audible sound. If you're 25 feet away and sitting in a car with the windows up and AC running, you can't even hear this siren. Second, unlike other DSC wireless devices, this uses a proprietary battery pack which no one seems to have in stock. I'm surprised that DSC would put their name on this unit!

i work for an authorized adt dealer, and we sell dsc products. anyway, this is a very good siren.. however, sometimes you will get one with a bad battery... but with any wireless equipment, this can tend to happen. BE SURE to prime the battery before you turn this thing on and try and test it.. otherwise you're going to mess up the battery which most people complaining in this thread already did. all in all.. i like this outdoor siren because not only does it have a 105 decibel sounder, but it also has a strobe light. it's also a 2-way siren which will send the outside temperature to your control panel in your house for display. not too shabby.

Just installed one today above garage door. Could barely hear it standing in drive in front of door, about 10 feet away. DSC should be ashamed to put out such a junk product when most of their products are OK. What DSC needs is a 2 way trigger relay to trip a really powerful siren that can be powered off the mains.

This is a great product. It is plenty loud. The battery needs to be "enabled" first, which take a few minutes, but then it last a while.

The first time I had an alarm come in that I was not at home, the battery went dead! Took 2 over months to get a battery. Had to remove siren from system becasue causing "fault". This siren has been useless for over 2 months and don't know yet if when place the new one in how long it will last! But then again, as is with everything else, made in China.
