Range not a problem, but the sensor died after nine months in mountain weather. I am ordering another.

Purchased two of these units. Both have lost range and had to be replaced. Once replaced they work fine. Chamberlain customer service was very understanding once you got through. Don't know what the problem is with the loss of range but it seems many others have this problem, too. Don't know why the company doesn't attempt to correct this problem becasuse it seems like the only real problem the unit(s) have.
