The AVST (Audio verification Station) serves as a user interface in the Audio Verification System and each station can cover a nominal (open field) range of 2500 square feet. The system supports up to three stations. Each station has a built-in microphone and speaker that send audio signals to and receive audio signals from the Audio Verification Module. The station has an internal volume control for setting speaker volume.
