Excellent camera; very clear at night. I also got good support in trying to figure out how to unscrew the base which is the only tricky part for a first time use of this dome camera.

After upgrading from the CMDW012 (poor nightime performance, see review) I have been pleased with the 36 LEDs nightime performance. In open spaces the 24 LEDs just don't put out enough IR to give good coverage. I recommend at least 36 LEDs for any outdoor, open spaces.

This camera is in outdoor use on a gate pillar about 850 feet from the monitoring location. About 2 months of experience so far. Excellent performance. Easy to adjust focus and field of view. We can see clearly a half mile away. Plates and occupants stopped at gate are clearly visible. 36 LED's make night vision very good although close up objects get really bright from reflected ambient light from other lighting. I would use this camera again.

This camera is very nice. It has outstanding detail and color in light and the night vision has great range. Bear in mind the LEDs glow red in the night which is actually a little freaky but it does at least tell you that it's powered. Pretty pleased with it.
