This is the GE DesignLine Slim Doow/Window Sensor. You can Install the sensor on doors, windows, and many other objects that open and close. the sensor transmits signals to the control panel when a magnet mounted near the sensor is moved away from or closer to the sensor. The sensor is equipped with a cover tamper for added security.

I purchased 10 of these in 2010, installed with an Elk M1G alarm panel. They were easy to install and link to the Elk. I have had no issues with them after 2 1/2 years. I have some installed with external contacts and that was easy to do as well.
