Music & Sound's DMC1 is the ideal fit for today's modern home. It's 30 percent smaller than previous M&S models, with a more functional yet elegant style. Intercom from room to room and safely communicate with visitors at your front door. The DMSC1 can also be upgraded to fill your home with stereo sound. Plus, the system's privacy feature will allow you to prevent anyone in the home from monitoring a particular room with just the push of a button.

The DMC1 is a voice and music intercom system with a digital AM/FM tuner and optional CD player (DMC1CD). The DMC1 master station is normally installed in a high traffic area of the home, typically the kitchen. Up to 9 remote stations (sub stations) and 3 door stations can be added. The intercom system features "hands free" answering at all stations, one-button talk/listen: push to speak, release to hear reply. Music from the radio or optional CD player is muted during intercom calls. To communicate from a sub station, simply press the talk button and a general page is done over the system. The person you are attempting to communicate with presses the talk button and two-way hands-free communication is initiated. Door answering can be done from the master station and every sub station. There is a monitoring or "listening-in" feature used primarily to check on a baby or a family member confined to a bed. Optional 3-note or 8-note chime module can be added to the DMC1. The chime modules generate a ring tone on each sub station when a doorbell button is pressed.
